2020年6月1日から、MACC（Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission、汚職防止委員会）法改正法のうち重要な改正点が施行されています。それにより、汚職行為を行った従業員のみならず、会社及び取締役等の責任者についても当該汚職行為について連座して責任が問われる可能性があります。6月以降、汚職防止委員会による調査事案の件数も増加しており、実際に調査に入られた日系企業もありますので、MACC法改正に対する対応と対策に改めて注意が必要です。
